FF: Last Day of May

It's the last day of May, can you believe it? May was a whirlwind of a month and I'm a little sad to see it go. Quick Recap: 18th birthday, HS graduation, quick trip to the beach and tons of thank you notes... I'm almost done, I swear. Amongst all the change my love for butterflies remains the same. In fact I got a sick butterfly scarf for my birthday from one of my friends and I can't wait to wear it. So I thought this image was perfect for this last "FF" of May.  Finally set up a Pinterest account, sure I'm perhaps "behind the times", but hey, it's better late than never. Last night I got to work pinning {it was a hard task...} and put together some boards and tried to pin only the best. It truly is addicting and goodness gracious there are so many beautiful pictures out there, not to mention some of the best looking food. So here's a quick breakdown of my Pinterest...

Cannes Film Fest: Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman attended the Great Gatsby premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this past week and when I saw what she wore, I just had to share. Head to toe perfection if you ask me... That's a hand beaded beauty from no other than the 2013 Spring collection of Dior Haute Couture. Her shoes were the most perfect pink and I thought her hair went with the dress flawlessly. Not only is the beading absolutely beautiful, but the bead colors are pretty as well. I'm sorry, but I'm just head over heels about this look.

FF: Graduation

Today's the day! I'm graduating high school today and couldn't be more excited. I'm acting as if it were a normal day by grabbing lunch with a friend, going shopping and then at 2 o'clock I go to get pampered. The event starts at seven and I just cannot wait!

Blue Dress Roundup: Amanda Uprichard

I first fell in love with this line when I bought their signature pocket top from Aria, a Baton Rouge boutique and online store. Since then I have purchased several pocket tops and tunics from Amanda Uprichard and I love them all. They're simple, yet so beautiful. The silk is just divine and the colors and patterns are always so vibrant and pretty. While I have yet to purchase one of their dresses {it's a tragedy} these dresses are simply perfect. For girls my age that are attending graduation parties and soon to be going through rush, I honestly cannot think of a more perfect set of dresses. I only chose blue, because as you all know that's my favorite color, but there are so many color options available.

Here's just a few ways or events I would wear these dresses to:
1.) This T-Shirt dress is awesome because you can dress it up or down. For a simple date night pair it with simple wedges or sandals and a jean jacket. Then again you can wear a fancy heel and some pretty baubles for a dressier look.
{Side Note: When wearing it with a jean jacket I would remove the belt.}
2.) The middle dress, called the Champagne dress, is my favorite! I think it's perfect for a variety of events, for example summer weddings and cocktail parties.
3.) I'll take this peplum please! This color is so pretty and it's just great dress to own. I think it would look great with a statement necklace from Lulu Frost or Dannijo.

FF: It's Over

Today is my last day of high school, and for many of my readers too! So here's to us and the journey we're about to embark on. Looking back these past four years have flown by and I'm so happy that it's over. While this week has been a mess, today and graduation will all be worth it.
