Social
Juggling social media can sometimes be hard... I feel like I'm always trying to keep up with it and sometimes it gets to be too much. However, I said earlier in the year I was going to work on it and I think I've done alright! I try to share what's interesting to me, the things that catch my eye or might catch yours and try to make sure TBB is on your radar. So to start off the week I thought I'd give y'all the opportunity to follow TBB along. I promise you're going to want to keep in touch with TBB in the month's to come because exciting (and new) things are coming!
Also, sorry for the hiatus last week! I just wanted/ desperately needed some time off.

Pack Up
I wish I was off to the beach to lay out right now, but it's just too cold! I can't lay out and relax when I'm covered in goose bumps! It's a sunny day though so I think I'll go for a run soon. But when I am at the beach these are the things you can find in my tote. Also my phone and headphones, but that's an obvious... I usually wear black bikinis so I like to have bright accessories to counteract all the black. Hope everyone is enjoying their week!
Shop What's In My Tote: 1 Rebecca Minkoff Tote 2 Ray Ban Wayfarers 3 Turkish Towel 4 Shiseido Sun Protection 5 Dior Lip Balm 6 St. Tropez Tanning Lotion (my favorite, I swear by it!) 7 J. Crew Panama Hat 8 J. Crew Pom Pom Tunic 9 K. Jacques Sandal 10 The Goldfinch

Happy Spring!
Happy Spring to ya!! Today's the first day of spring and it's off to a great start - all of my Thursday classes got cancelled! I'm so happy that spring is finally here because I've been feeling so blue lately... but the best kind of blue because I've been dreaming of all of these blue pieces.
- La Marque Perforated Leather Skirt... Basically all of my favorite things summed up into one incredible piece.
- Rebecca Taylor Poppy Tank: Gorgeous floral pattern and I love the use of pastel colors.
- Giles & Brother Necklace: While I think the price is a little high for this piece, I adore it!
- Tory Burch Baja Dress: A little prep never hurt nobody, right? I usually am not a fan of "preppy" pieces, but this dress is just too cute to pass up!
- J. Crew Embroidered Peasant Top: $69.99 plus take an extra 25% off and free shipping. GO
- Loeffler Randall Rider Bag: The cobalt blue color on this bag is absolutely stunning!
- Tibi Raffia Patchwork Crop Top: Usually not a fan of crop tops, but I'll make an exception for this top!
- Loeffler Randall Mara Espadrille: Loeffler Randall can do no wrong.
- Lovers + Friends Adore Short: Start of spring means the start of short season. Oh boy... my bank account is going to be hurting very soon.
- Rebecca Taylor Lace Top: Simply stunning. So many ways I would wear this...

Bright Stripes
If there's one thing I hope all of you know about me, it's that I'm a stripe addict. Yes, it's true... there aren't any help groups for it, but it's a true problem. I also have a short addiction as well (more on that later). Since there aren't any help groups I'm left admiring stripes, owning way too many striped tees, a striped Tibi dress that I'll never part with and lusting over LemLem's Spring/Summer collection. I mean how amazing are all of those pieces? While it's so hard to chose a favorite/I hate to do so... I think the Samara shirt is mine!
Not to mention any piece of LemLem would be perfect to bring on a spring or summer vacation. In my case spring break which starts Friday. After a terrible test test yesterday (that's why there wasn't a post) there's nothing I need more than a week spent at my family's beach home. Cheers to a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Not Over The Net
In tennis terms, "not over the net" is a very bad thing, but when referring to the new sporty mesh trend it's much appreciated. If you haven't already noticed mesh/net detailing is cropping up everywhere. From Milly to Chloe, all the designers seem to be debuting a collection that features a mesh piece or two! I have to admit I was a little skeptical of the trend at first, but I now am a complete fan! So... is this a trend you will be passing on or hopping on? Also, how incredible is that last image?! It's a complete Milly ensemble that Blair from Atlantic - Pacific recently wore.

I feel like I talk (complain) about the weather every Friday, but it's just so icky! Yesterday was a high of 46 and rainy. Not exactly my cup of tea... However, this weekend is supposed to be nice, fingers crossed, and I'm super excited about it. But I'm not here to talk about the weather so here's this weeks Friday Favorites!

Motivation
A little over a month ago I ordered my first pair of Lululemon pants and for those of you who don't know, Lulu's motto is "sweat once a day and/or #thesweatlife." When I opened up my package a little slip of paper with their motto fell out and it made me think about how I rarely exercised. The next day I went to the rec (my university's gym) and did some cardio for 30 minutes. Since then I've gone every single day, for longer periods of time, pushed my self harder and tried new things. A little over two weeks ago I decided that I was going to run. I am not a runner, have never been a runner, and have honestly never seen myself as a runner, so this was a big deal for me. When I hopped on the treadmill I set it to 5.something and started to run... I only lasted 7 minutes. It was rough and made me feel so out of shape. So each day since I've been running and pushing myself to further distances. Yesterday was a pretty big day. I started on the treadmill and ran a 10 minute mile (kinda slow and easy, nothing too crazy) then walked for .5 mile and I wanted more, I wanted to run more. (craziness). So I put the speed on 6.0 and ran. I covered the time and distance tracker with a towel and just ran until I wanted to stop. Turns out I ran for twenty minutes and a little over two miles. That may seem easy to some, but for me it was a big deal and I felt as if I needed to share it. Happy Tuesday! image via lululemon
also... I have a midterm tomorrow so a.) wish me luck (!!) b) don't be surprised if there isn't a post tomorrow, school comes first! c) check out lululemon's new arrivals here

Best Dressed at The Oscars
As you all know, last night was the Oscar awards and while I tried to stay up for the entire event, I crashed just 30 minutes before the end. To say the least I had to catch up on all the winners this morning. However, I did get to see Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o's speeches and they were both incredible. As for the fashion of the night, there were some incredible dresses. Cate Blanchett and Lupita Nyong'o both stole the show in my opinion. The detail on Cate's dress was just incredible and that perfect pastel blue Prada dress on Lupita was simply gorgeous. Other favorites include, Charlize Theron (!!!!), Emma Watson (her makeup was phenomenal), and Amy Adams who styled herself instead of having a stylist. Oh! and I can't forget Kate Hudson because she looked absolutely radiant in that silver Atelier Versace gown and Jennifer Lawrence in that fire red Dior!
