Off To The Beach

Well, after a week or so of seeing Spring Break pictures on Instagram and other social media sites, it's finally time for me to have mine and I'm off to the beach! I'll try to snap some pictures while I'm there. Where is there? Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, along 30A. This week and a half break is much needed for many reasons... one being my skin color, I need to get some color on me! Again, I'm hoping to have some beach posts so be on the look out! Sorry for how scattered this post is, the only thing on my mind is SB.

Must Have SS'13: Clover Canyon

Clover Canyon first became popular just under a year ago and their SS'13 line is amazing. Not only is it full of color and sick prints {y'all know how much I love prints}, but they incorporated unique fabrics too. Here are some of my favorite looks that are all available from Clover Canyon. As Rachel Zoe would say that peach jacket is MAJ. Wouldn't you agree these pieces are absolutely insane?

First off, I have to say that A Piece of Toast is one of my favorite blogs and I check it religiously. Also, Molly may be one of the nicest people I've never met... sounds unconventional but it's true.

What's one thing you wish you would have known entering college?

 How much money to budget for going out, eating out and shopping! 

How did you deal with homesickness? 

Frequent calls to mom and dad and keeping busy. 

Dorms. Small rooms and small closets... what's a girl to do?

What should all girls have in their closet? 

Jeans for class and going out. And cute workout gear - always good to have for those days you don't shower but want to look cute and put together! 

What makes a good college wardrobe? 

Versatile pieces that can take you from year to year. 

What's something we want to bring but shouldn't?

Nice shoes and anything suede. The bars will ruin both! 

Something we cannot have enough of...

You can never have enough pull-over sweaters and white shirts. 

What's the best way to wear things multiple ways?

A blazer will be your best friend and find a comfortable pair of boots that will look good with jeans and dresses.

Be happy and normal & trust your gut! 

One thing you wished you knew going into it?

What you wear don't matter - it's about having meaningful conversations and making connections!

Rent The Runway or should we use our own clothes?

Try to use what you already have in your closet or if you buy things, make sure you can wear them after rush, too. 

Best thing about it looking back?

Making my best friends and learning how NOT stressful it is once you are on the other side. 

Favorite things about being in a sorority?

Instant best friends, social events, philanthropy opportunities and the chance to be a leader and contribute talents.

So happy it's finally the weekend. With Spring comes blooms and pollen, so I've been hit with some allergies. Hopefully this weekend I'll get over them and perhaps stay inside and relax. Dainty or large my friend Amelia has every possible type of necklace. Yes, I mean every... which includes a fab Alexis Bittar one. She has so many it's turned into a collection. The thing is that she rarely wears them, she just buys the most fabulous ones then leaves them to sit in her room. Whether or not you watched The City, you've probably heard of Olivia Palermo. She's a NYC socialite, Piperlime editor along side Rachel Zoe, and a model. She's been dating Johannes Huebl for the past few years and they are one stylish couple. Not to mention a very pretty couple... They are always dressed to the nines, in sync and chic. From her designer frocks to Tibi collection, there is nothing I want more than the clothes and baubles in her closet. except, maybe her man.

Happy March

March is here! I think of green, four leaf clovers, all things Irish and St. Patty's day when I think of March. With the coming of March, we're closer to spring which means we're closer to May. May is my last month of high-school, my birthday, graduation, and when my family moves! It's a lot to look forward to!
