Need Spring

Can the weather just make up it's mind?? One day it's gorgeous and sunny and the other it's rainy and cold. All I know is that I'm tired of this icky weather and I want spring now. This weeks round of CC includes all the colors of spring. Oh and has anyone else noticed the mesh trend this season? Thoughts?

Swimsuit Season

Swim suit season is quickly approaching, aka spring break, so going to the gym everyday and shopping for bikinis has become the norm. I've always admired Mara Hoffman suits because of her insane prints and great cuts. However, last year Marysia swim came onto the scene and I was immediately obsessed. I didn't pull the trigger on a suit from Marysia last year because I was afraid that the bottoms might not provide me with the coverage I wanted. I'm one of those people who can't lay still at the beach, I'm either out playing in the water or on a paddle board! So when I saw that Marysia came out with a brand new suit called the "Grand" which has more coverage than the "Antibes" I was thrilled! Cookies Galore

Last week I made probably the best cookies I've ever made in my life. And yes, I'm being completely serious. These cookies were actually perfect. They were thick, chewy, but not too chewy and had the perfect amount of m&m's and chocolate chips. They were pretty easy to make, not to mention fun and it's a recipe I'll probably be using from now on. So cheers to two dozen cookies being eaten in one weekend! Not all by me, I swear.

A Fresh Bouquet

Spring is just around the corner and these pieces from Joie are perfect for it! In fact, Joie's whole collection is the pretty amazing! I especially love this print though, because the floral print is so pretty. The color palette is ideal too. While I love the pants (did you see how Kimberly, from Eat.Sleep.Wear, wore them?! amazing. ) and dress, the tank is my favorite. Why? Well, it's so versatile and could easily be worn a variety of ways! So, do you need it, want it, and have to have it?

These are the songs I listen to on the way to school and sometimes I even listen to them at the gym. Some people go the fast, up beat, rap music route and sure a guy repeatedly saying curse words might get you to run faster, but are you enjoying it? I don't enjoy it so I listen to this list.

Street Style Snaps

Last Thursday was the start of NYFW and while it's now coming to an end, I thought I'd share some of my favorite street style looks. Sometimes it's hard to find looks that I love on the street because women do the craziest things to get photographed by Bill Cunningham or Tommy Ton.

I saw these Steven espadrilles last week on shopbop and I immediately added them to my cart. But then I made that Loeffler Randall post and those leopard flats caught my eye. (the struggle) So I immediately thought to make a splurge vs. save post and get your opinion! Honestly, I think I'm leaning towards the Steven ones, because that price tag is hard to beat!

Valentines Gift Guide

Valentines day is Friday so I thought I'd provide all of you with a little gift guide in case you want to drop some late hints! Since I'm single, I showed my mom this post last night. She asked me what I had my eyes on and I immediately said that DVF dress and Vita Fede Bracelet. She personally adores the Salvatore Ferragamo flats, except we've never tried on a pair so can't decide if they would be comfortable or not.
